Our Summer 2026 graduation ceremonies are concluded now having taken place through a virtual ceremony on Friday 03 July and in-person ceremonies at Paisley Abbey, between 7th 鈥� 10th July 2026.

Autumn Graduation Ceremonies
London
We are pleased to announce that Autumn 2026 graduation ceremonies will take place in London, St Marylebone Church, between 15th 鈥� 18th September 2026.
Students who are eligible to graduate at the Autumn ceremonies will receive information about how to register mid-August. This will be sent to your UWSstudent email address and any personal email address which has been provided via the Banner Student Information System.
This information will detail which specific ceremony you have been allocated to and the deadline by which you need to complete online graduation registration.
Virtual ceremony will take place on Friday 6th November 2026.

Graduations at Partner Institutions
Organisation of award ceremonies for UWSstudents enrolled on validated programmes at partner institutions overseas and in the UK is the responsibility of the partner institution.
Any enquiries regarding award ceremonies for these programmes should be sent directly to the partner institution.

Livestreaming, Publication & Photographs
All graduation ceremonies are livestreamed on YouTube and afterwards recordings are available for on-demand viewing.
Crowd shots will be taken by the University photographers at the venue and at our graduation receptions and these may include images of you and your guests.
During the ceremony and the subsequent celebrations, members of University staff will be present taking photographs and this may include photographs of you and your guests as individuals or part of a small group.鈥疶hese images may be used on the graduation website and on the University's social media channels.鈥�疶hey may also be used in future graduation brochures and booklets and in our marketing and promotional materials both in the UK and overseas.
We will use these images in both printed and electronic format and may use them for a period of up to 10 years after they have been taken.鈥疶he photographer will ask for you and your guest鈥檚 verbal consent before taking any pictures of you individually or as part of a small group.鈥疘f you do not wish for your photograph to be taken and used in the way described above, you should tell the photographer when they ask for your consent.
The virtual ceremonies will be broadcast live for graduates, their families and friends, and will be available thereafter on the University鈥檚 YouTube channel.

Liability
In the event that the graduation/celebration is cancelled for any reason the university does not accept liability for direct or indirect loss or damages incurred as a result of the cancellation of the event. This includes any loss incurred with external suppliers such as travel, accommodation, photography or robing. We would recommend that you consider the cancellation and refund policies of any suppliers before making a booking with them and you may also wish to consider having appropriate insurance in place.
